Kids love to do "real" things. They are fascinated by watching adults, stirring a bowl of ingredients, putting topping on a pizza, or helping mom or dad with the dishes - beats any toy in the closet!
It is one of the few products I know that you can get 5 years use out of! Think of all the things your children outgrow, and how many toys they become disinterested in as they get a bit older... not so with the learning tower. I still have the same learning tower I bought in 1999, and it is not yet being used by my second child.
