Responds to the Growing Need to Provide Child-friendly Customer Service
We think the management at Oakbrook Toyota in Westmont, Illinois made a very smart move. In an effort to offer the best possible customer service, they asked their employees to pretend they were customers at their dealership and to single out areas needing improvement. The toys in the waiting area came under scrutiny. "Because I walk by them every day, I never really noticed that they needed attention," a manager said. That was the situation that prompted Mark Hollenbeck to call us and place an order for the Circle of Fun Activity Bench. "We are all very excited about it," he said. "We can't wait for it to arrive." Many well-intentioned businesses put toys out to entertain youngsters visiting their organizations, but toys in public settings require constant care. And although it's understandable that employees over time don't take notice, you can be certain that customers do, and tired-looking, soiled toys can tarnish a business image.
